Paramount Construction was contracted by the MDC to install approximately 16000 LF of 8″ Ductile Iron Water Main. This accelerated project consisted of water main installation on various streets in East Hartford and Wethersfield, Connecticut. The contract included the installation of various gate valves, hydrants, about 300 service connections, and permanent trench restoration. The project kicked off in July 2020 and Paramount completed approximately 13000 LF of the contract in 2020. The project continued throughout 2021 as the MDC added many more linear feet to the original project scope.
