Paramount Construction crews were hard at work in April 2019 on a project that included road reconstruction, installation of bump-outs and pedestrian improvements on Main Street (Route 17), access points to Route 9 in Middletown, Connecticut. The work performed affected multiple businesses and large residential complexes. The full scope of reconstruction changed the character of the road by bumping out into the crown. It also included installation of granite curb, concrete sidewalks, stamped concrete, drainage improvements, milling, paving, signage installation, pedestrian crosswalks and signal modifications.
