Paramount Construction completed a sanitary sewer line replacement on Route 4 in Farmington, Connecticut. This project included major road reconstruction of Routes 4 and 6, which serve as major interchanges to access I-84. This project consisted of the removal and replacement of existing sanitary sewers, sidewalks, curbs, landscaping, signal modification, site lighting, drainage improvements, diversion of water, replacement of a culvert, widening of roadway, removal and disposal of unsuitable materials, replacement of road base, fine grading, paving, line striping, guardrail, erosion control silt fence, topsoil and seed, and traffic control. This project was completed at night only and included drainage improvements and associated trench paving. Work performed impacted multiple stakeholders and included a winter shutdown.
